KANSAS CITY, Mo. \u2014 Kansas City once again finds itself welcoming a talented group of musicians as autumn rolls into the month of October.<\/p>\n
KCK\u2019s new immersive \u2018movie theatre\u2019 brings stories to life with a 90\u2019s twist <\/a><\/p>\n These aren\u2019t all the shows going down in the metro in October, but here are some of the more notable acts:<\/p>\n Texas-based rapper That Mexican OT was originally set to play Grinders KC to begin the month, but his KC stop on \u201cThe Recess Tour<\/strong><\/a>\u201d was rescheduled for Uptown Theater instead.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Rapper Babytron<\/strong><\/a> will be in Lawrence, Kansas at the Granda on the second.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Also on the second, alternative country star Waxahatchee will join Missouri native Caleb Hearon at the Uptown Theater for the \u201cYeehaw!<\/strong><\/a>\u201d benefit for KC Tenants.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Another Missouri native, or \u201cMidwest Princess,\u201d is coming back to KC for a pair of shows during the first weekend of October. Chappell Roan<\/strong><\/a> will be at the National WWI Museum and Memorial on the third with guest Japanese Breakfast.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Indie rock outfit Boys Like Girls<\/strong><\/a>, popular for their 2006 hit \u201cThe Great Escape,\u201d is coming to KC on \u201cThe Basements to Bleachers Tour\u201d on the third. They\u2019ll be at Voodoo at Harrah\u2019s Kansas City.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Rounding out a star-studded Friday night in KC is Royel Otis with the \u201cmeet me in the car tour<\/strong><\/a>\u201d at Uptown Theater.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Chappell Roan<\/strong><\/a> will play at the WWI Museum and Memorial again on Saturday. The second show will be with Baby Tate.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Ziggy Marley<\/strong><\/a>, the oldest son of the legendary Bob Marley, will be at Grinders KC in the Crossroads on the fourth. He\u2019ll be playing with Spearhead.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Young the Giant<\/strong><\/a>, the band behind the hit song \u201cMind Over Matter,\u201d will be at Uptown Theater on the \u201cIn the Open Tour\u201d on the fifth.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Garbage<\/strong><\/a>, a formative \u201990s alt-rock group out of Wisconsin, is in Kansas City at The Midland Theatre on the sixth. Starcrawler is scheduled to open the show.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Also on the seventh, DJO<\/strong><\/a> will be at Grinders KC. The band is fronted by Joe Kerry, popular for his work on the Netflix hit series \u201cStranger Things.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Christian singer Phil Wickham<\/strong><\/a> will be at Cable Dahmer Arena in Independence, Missouri on the eighth.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Also on the eighth, shoegaze heavy hitters, Wisp<\/a><\/strong>, will be at recordBar in Crossroads.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Rounding out the eighth is alternative pop group Lucius<\/strong><\/a>. They\u2019ll be at Liberty Hall in Lawrence.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Rappers G Herbo, Mozzy and others will be at Cable Dahmer Arena on the 11th for \u201cFall Fest<\/strong><\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Progressive rock group Dream Theater<\/a><\/strong> will be at The Midland Theatre in Downtown Kansas City on the 13th.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Australian group Ocean Alley<\/strong><\/a> will be at The Truman in Crossroads on the 13th as well.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Lastly, the punk rock band Circle Jerks<\/strong><\/a> will be at Madrid Theatre in Midtown KC.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n In This Moment<\/a><\/strong>, a theatrical hard rock band out of LA, will be at The Midland Theatre on the 14th.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Another heavy-hitting band, Kublai Khan TX<\/strong><\/a>, will be across town at the Uptown Theater on the 14th, too.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Country music star Travis Tritt<\/strong><\/a> will be at Ameristar Casino and Hotel on the 18th.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Popular hip-hop artist Playboi Carti will bring his \u201cAntagonist Tour<\/a><\/strong>\u201d to KC\u2019s T-Mobile Center on the 24th.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Also on Friday, country star Warren Zeiders<\/strong><\/a> will play at Cable Dahmer Arena.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Alternative-pop artist Cuco<\/strong><\/a> will be at The Truman on the 24th.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Indie-rock group Lord Huron<\/strong><\/a> will be at Cable Dahmer Arena on the 25th.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\nWednesday, October 1<\/h2>\n
