Xavi made his Premios Juventud debut, performing his single \u201cCoraz\u00f3n de Piedra\u201d; Maluma took the stage to sing his latest hit \u201cBronceador,\u201d and Grupo Firme performed \u201cEl Beneficio de la Duda.\u201d Additionally, Bad Gyal sang \u201cDa Me,\u201d Camilo and Morat joined forces for their collaboration \u201cMe Toca a M\u00ed,\u201d and Farruko presented \u201cBandido\u201d along with his new single, \u201cOe Oe.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Hosted by Alejandra Espinoza, Clarissa Molina, and Nadia Ferreira, the 22nd edition of Premios Juventud was broadcast live from the Figali Convention Center in Panama City via Univision, UNIM\u00c1S, Galavisi\u00f3n, and ViX.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Bad Bunny and Morat led <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.yahoo.com\/entertainment\/articles\/here-are-the-premios-juventud-002003854.html\" data-ylk=\"slk:the winners\u2019 list;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;outcm:mb_qualified_link;_E:mb_qualified_link;ct:story;\" class=\"link  yahoo-link\">the winners\u2019 list<\/a> of winners with three awards each. The Puerto Rican superstar won best urban track (\u201cDTMF\u201d), best urban mix (\u201cAdivino\u201d), and best urban album (<em>Deb\u00ed Tirar M\u00e1s Fotos<\/em>), while the Colombian band got favorite group or duo of the year, best pop\/rock song (\u201cMe Toca a M\u00ed\u201d), and best pop album (<em>Ya Es Ma\u00f1ana<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The Premio Juventud artist of the year award went to Karol G, who also won tropical hit of the year (\u201cSi Antes Te Hubiera Conocido\u201d). Car\u00edn Le\u00f3n also got two trophies: best Mexican music song (\u201cEl Amor de Mi Herida\u201d) and best Mexican music album (<em>Boca Chueca, Vol. 1<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">But who topped our ranking of the best performances of the night? Marc Anthony &amp; Wisin\u2019s Premiere<\/h2>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Marc Anthony and Wisin got everyone dancing with the world premiere of their collaboration \u201cQue Me Quiera Ma.\u201d On a yellow-dominated stage resembling the facade of a hotel, and surrounded by a body of dancers in matching bikinis, the salsa icon and the reggaeton superstar turned up the heat with their lively new song. It was a moment that cheered up the audience after a series of less impressive performances.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"mb-4 text-xl font-bold md:text-2xl\">5. Louis BPM &amp; Farruko with Makaco el Cerebro<\/h2>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cEsto es Panam\u00e1, aqu\u00ed no camina cualquiera,<em>\u201d <\/em>Venezuela\u2019s rising star Louis BPM shouted at the start of his set alongside Puerto Rican maverick Farruko, who donned a bulletproof vest. Both dressed in army-inspired gear, together they kicked off with the infectious trap number \u201cPancc,\u201d the lead track from their recent joint album <em>167BPM<\/em>. Wearing a durag and a shirt that read, \u201cYo vivo en Venezuela y no quiero guerra,\u201d Louis struck a balance between resistance and a plea for peace. The duo kept the momentum alive with their electrifying reggaet\u00f3n number \u201cOe Oe,\u201d amping up the crowd before being joined by dreadlocked Domincian artist Makako el Cerebro for the rhythmic \u201cMaracaibo.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"mb-4 text-xl font-bold md:text-2xl\">4. Natti Natasha\u2019s Sweet Revelation<\/h2>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Natti Natasha looked like a fairy as she revealed the gender of her baby during the premiere of her emotional ballad \u201cTraje Aqu\u00ed.\u201d In what marked one of the most moving moments of the evening, the Dominican star \u2014 dressed in an ample, flowing white dress \u2014 sang sweetly accompanied by the National Youth Symphony Orchestra before a pink light illuminated her, clearly indicating what she\u2019s expecting. It\u2019s a girl!<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"mb-4 text-xl font-bold md:text-2xl\">3. Honoring Panamanian Songwriters<\/h2>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Premios Juventud featured a moving tribute to the legacy of Panamanian songwriting. Duo Gaitanes and Omar Alfanno opened the segment with a rendition of \u201cA Puro Dolor,\u201d the pop ballad written by Alfanno and made famous by Son by Four in 2020. They followed with \u201cMuy Dentro de Mi,\u201d and the tribute culminated with Erika Ender, one of the nation\u2019s most celebrated songwriters, taking the stage to perform her global phenomenon \u201cDespacito,\u201d a song she co-wrote that forever changed the landscape of Latin music. It was another moment of Panamanian pride, appropriate and well-deserved for celebration.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"mb-4 text-xl font-bold md:text-2xl\">2. Carlos Vives along with Sergio George &amp; Grupo Niche<\/h2>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Carlos Vives delivered an invigorating showcase that blended music, passion, and purpose. Honored as an \u201cAgente de Cambio\u201d at the award ceremony, Vives took the stage in a sleek black ensemble, exuding charisma and heart as he paid homage to the power of music as a force for good. Joined by the legendary Sergio George, who pounded the piano keys with electrifying energy, and the always-dapper Grupo Niche, dressed in pristine white suits, the stage lit up with energetic salsa. Together, they delivered Vives\u2019 timeless hit \u201cLa Tierra del Olvido,\u201d and \u201cFabricando Fantasias\u201d\u00a0originally by Tito Nieves.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">A sparkling black-clad salsa troupe danced around them, adding even more fire to the performance. The tribute to Panama<\/h2>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Premios Juventud kicked off with a powerful musical number honoring Panama, featuring Boza, Farruko, Los Rabanes, Nando Boom, Natti Natasha, Samy and Sandra Sandoval, Sech, and Willie Col\u00f3n.
