If a new Jason Bourne<\/a><\/strong> movie is greenlit, Matt Damon has one key requirement to return.<\/p>\n In November 2023, All Quiet on the Western Front\u2019s Edward Berger<\/a> entered negotiations to direct and develop a new Bourne movie<\/a>. To figure out what went wrong, Bourne goes rogue and fights back against those who tried to kill him.<\/p>\n The Bourne Identity\u2019s success spawned three direct sequels: 2004\u2019s The Bourne Supremacy, 2007\u2019s The Bourne Ultimatum, and 2016\u2019s Jason Bourne. In 2012, Jeremy Renner starred in The Bourne Legacy, which introduced a new protagonist, black ops agent Aaron Cross.<\/p>\n In August, NBCUniversal acquired all rights<\/a> to the Jason\u00a0Bourne and\u00a0Treadstone book series.
