Actor and actress Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones share a birthday on September 25, something many fans weren\u2019t aware of.<\/p>\n

But while this isn\u2019t anything too crazy, it was how Douglas referred to his wife of almost 25 years that caused a bit of a stir.<\/p>\n

Sharing a picture of the pair of them for the occasion on Instagram<\/a>, Douglas wrote a message to his wife in the caption.<\/p>\n

While many fans were complimenting the pair and congratulating them on their birthday, some picked up on the \u2018birthday sister\u2019 comment and argued it came across as \u2018weird\u2019 to them.<\/p>\n

One user wrote: \u201cDid you just call your wife sister or am I tripping?”<\/p>\n

Another added: \u201cThat\u2019s his wife, not his sister, what does he mean birthday sister.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the comments section, Zeta-Jones thanked her husband but didn\u2019t reveal any potential nicknames she has for him.<\/p>\n

She wrote: \u201cHappy birthday darling. I can’t think of anyone else to share a birthday with.\u201d<\/p>\n

On her own social media<\/a> page, she posted a tribute to their relationship and shared old photos of them through the years.<\/p>\n
