Prince William traveled to Balmoral Castle in Scotland this week to spend private time with his father, King Charles, according to British media reports. Per The Sun<\/em><\/a>, the Prince of Wales was photographed Tuesday arriving at Aberdeen airport after visiting families in Southport with his wife, Kate Middleton<\/a>.<\/p>\n He reportedly flew north to join the King at the royal family\u2019s Highland estate. Charles arrived at Balmoral Castle<\/a> for his annual summer vacation in mid-August, which is later than when his late mother, Queen Elizabeth, usually arrived at Balmoral. But he is expected to stay at the castle until the end of the month<\/a>. Both King Charles and Prince William were in London last week for the Duchess of Kent\u2019s funeral<\/a> and U.S. President Donald Trump\u2019s state visit to the UK<\/a>.<\/p>\n It is the third year Charles and William have set aside such an informal break together at Balmoral, The Telegraph<\/em><\/a> reported. The meetings are not listed on official schedules but are considered opportunities for the monarch and his heir to speak together privately.
