Elliott, 15, formerly known as Isaac, publicly came out during the June 6 episode of Kailyn\u2019s \u201cBarely Famous\u201d podcast. He and his mom, 33, shared their candid discussion [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
\u201c[He went] for the first two years, and then he got a final order that said he had to stay away from me,\u201d she said. \u201cI didn\u2019t know that. I didn\u2019t know that he got a court order to stay away. At that point, what could he do? \u2026 He said he tried calling my grandparents. I can\u2019t remember if he said they hung up or wouldn\u2019t give him any information.\u201d<\/p>\n
While Lowry was surprised to hear Raymond\u2019s revelations, she does \u201cfeel lighter\u201d after returning home from the visit.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I left, he was like, \u2018You still look mad,\u2019\u201d she said. \u201cI was, like, \u2018No, it\u2019s just a lot.\u2019 I essentially spent 30 years of my life being so angry and so mad, and it\u2019s not going to go away overnight. \u2026 I have no regrets [and] there are no questions I wish I asked that I didn\u2019t ask. There was no answer that I wasn\u2019t satisfied with. I feel lighter, I feel more at peace, I feel forgiveness for him. I think all my anger was very misplaced, and he did what he could with what he had \u2014 but he didn\u2019t have a whole lot. \u2026 My dad was by himself and he was trying.\u201d<\/p>\n
Lowry added, \u201cI\u2019m so grateful that I was able to go, my sister was able to go [and our] aunt was able to coordinate the visit. I have no regrets at all, and I hope to go and visit him one more time before he dies. I really do.\u201d<\/p>\n
