The ending certainly left room for more stories to tell from all of the central characters.<\/p>\n Did Abbie (Sydney Topliffe<\/a>) actually escape Tall Pines successfully? Will Alex (Martin) regret his decision to stay behind with Laura (Sarah Gadon<\/a>), even though she\u2019s seemingly becoming the head of a questionable new cult-like group in Tall Pines? Will Evelyn (Toni Collette<\/a>) survive being drugged? The show was marketed as a limited series by Netflix. However, Martin is not ruling out the possibility of a return.<\/p>\n \u201cI was told it was a miniseries, but there\u2019s definitely more story to tell, I think,\u201d they told TV Insider. \u201cWe left all those characters in crisis, basically. Hopefully it\u2019s tied up enough that it\u2019s satisfying to watch as a series.\u201d But, as Gadon pointed out, \u201cNothing\u2019s tied up in a neat little bow.\u201d<\/p>\n Collette noted that the cast \u201ctalks about\u201d coming back, adding, \u201cIt\u2019s endlessly intriguing.
