Celebrity Wheel of Fortune\u00a0<\/em>returns to ABC starting Sept. 26. This marks the first time that new\u00a0Wheel of Fortune\u00a0<\/em>host Ryan Seacrest<\/strong> has done the celebrity version of the game. While co-host Vanna White<\/strong> has been there since the beginning, she says it\u2019s not up to her to show Seacrest the ropes.<\/p>\n \u201cHonestly, the celebrities are the ones who are showing him the way, because they are full of energy and full of life and used to being in front of the camera,\u201d White tells ABC Audio. \u201cSo he\u2019s working with them throughout the whole show. You know, I\u2019m just turning my little letters!\u201d<\/p>\n Some of the stars competing this season for a chance to win\u00a0$1 million for their favorite charity include\u00a0Dancing With the Stars<\/em>\u2018 Derek Hough<\/strong>, WNBA champ\u00a0Candace Parker<\/strong>, the stars of The Hunting Wives <\/em>and\u00a0New Kid on the Block<\/strong>\u2018s Joey McIntyre<\/strong>\u00a0among others.<\/p>\n Over the six seasons of\u00a0Celebrity Wheel of Fortune<\/em>, White says one of her favorite stars to play the game was skateboarding legend Tony Hawk<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen my son was 12, he went to his camp and Tony signed a helmet for him,\u201d she recalls. \u201cSo I brought in the helmet to show him. And it just, that was special to me because it was something from my son, my family.\u201d<\/p>\n White also gives Seacrest the thumbs-up as the new regular Wheel of Fortune<\/em> host; he took over for Pat Sajak<\/strong> this year.<\/p>\n \u201cHe\u2019s wonderful to work with. He is so professional.
