Sheinelle Jones<\/a> is speaking out about speculation that she\u2019s joining the Bravo universe.<\/p>\n Jones and Jenna Bush Hager<\/a> played a game<\/a> of \u201cPlead the Fifth\u201d with Andy Cohen<\/a> on the Friday, September 26, episode of Today<\/a> With Jenna & Friends<\/em>, in which the two women had to truthfully answer two out of three questions asked to them by Cohen.<\/p>\n \u201cThere were rumors recently that you were in line to be a Real Housewife of New York,\u201d Cohen told Jones, after which she said her \u201cphone continues to explode\u201d with messages about The Real Housewives of New York City<\/a> <\/em>casting rumors.<\/p>\n \u201cThis didn\u2019t get to me,\u201d Cohen, who executive produces The Real Housewives<\/em><\/a> franchise, noted. \u201cAre you kidding me?\u201d Jones replied. \u201cMy phone for the last 72 hours has been exploding.\u201d<\/p>\n Cohen proceeded to ask Jones if she would ever consider joining the reality TV series. Rather than answer, Jones decided to \u201cplead the fifth,\u201d much to Bush Hager\u2019s disappointment.<\/p>\n \u201cWait, you can\u2019t leave us like that!\u201d Bush Hager exclaimed. Cohen defended Jones\u2019s response, stating, \u201cYes, she can. It\u2019s the game. And she left the door open.\u201d<\/p>\n Earlier on the show<\/a>, Jones shares what her Real Housewives<\/em> tagline would be. \u201cWearing Chanel is nice. But being Sheinelle is the ultimate luxury,\u201d she said, earning snaps and claps from Bush Hager and Cohen.<\/p>\n Earlier this month, rumors emerged that Jones was in the running to join the upcoming 16th season of RHONY<\/em>. A source close to the Today<\/em> host shut down the speculation, alleging to The U.S. Sun<\/a> in an article published on September 16, \u201cThis is totally not true.\u201d<\/p>\n RHONY<\/em> Season 15 followed the personal and professional lives of stars Sai De Silva<\/a>, Ubah Hassan<\/a>, Erin Lichy<\/a>, Jenna Lyons<\/a>, Jessel Taank<\/a>, Brynn Whitfield<\/a>, and Racquel Chevremont. Bravo has not announced a premiere date or casting for the upcoming season, including which cast members will return.<\/p>\n While Jones\u2019 RHONY<\/em> casting rumors have been debunked, many Today<\/em> fans are hoping that she will follow in Hoda Kotb<\/a>\u2018s footsteps and take over<\/a> as Bush Hager\u2019s fourth hour of Today<\/em> cohost.
