The official first trailer<\/a> for \u201cThe Chosen Adventures\u201d released on Thursday.<\/p>\n \u201cThe Chosen Adventures,\u201d an animated children\u2019s spinoff series to the biblical drama \u201cThe Chosen,\u201d is set to premiere on Prime Video next month.<\/p>\n In the trailer, Abby (Romy Fay) and her friend Joshua (Jude Zarzaur) meet Jesus (Jonathan Roumie), who answers her many questions and lets her tag along on his adventures.<\/p>\n The series, which is co-produced by Amazon MGM Studios and 5&2 Studios \u2014 the studio behind \u201cThe Chosen\u201d \u2014 will feature 14 11-minutes episodes.<\/p>\n All episodes of \u201cThe Chosen Adventures\u201d will premiere exclusively on the streamer on Friday, Oct. 17, in the United States and internationally in the United Kingdom, Latin America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, and sub-Saharan Africa.<\/p>\n Emmy and Golden Globe winner Paul Walter Hauser leads the series as Sheep, with Yvonne Orji as Pigeon, Romy Fay as Abby, Jude Zarzaur as Joshua, Danny Nucci as Abba and Zehra Fazal as Eema.<\/p>\n Several stars from \u201cThe Chosen\u201d will reprise their roles on \u201cThe Chosen Adventures,\u201d including Jonathan Roumie as Jesus, Elizabeth Tabish as Mary, Paras Patel as Matthew, Noah James as Andrew, George H. Xanthis as John, Joey Vahedi as Thomas and Yasmine Al-Bustami as Ramah.<\/p>\n Ryan Swanson, a co-writer for \u201cThe Chosen,\u201d serves as the series\u2019 writer, showrunner and executive producer.
