The Format<\/a> will appear alongside Taylor Swift and Keri Russell on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”\u00a0on Monday, Oct. 6.<\/p>\n

Swift will be there to discuss her new album, “The Life of a Showgirl” in her seventh appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”<\/p>\n

The Format will be on the show as musical guests.<\/p>\n

The reunited Arizona duo’s appearance on Fallon follows their return to active duty at Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Phoenix with a\u00a0sold-out performance<\/a>\u00a0as part of the 2025\u00a0Arizona State Fair Coliseum Concert Series<\/a>\u00a0on Saturday, Sept. 27.<\/p>\n

The coliseum concert marks The Format\u2019s first full-band performance since 2007, although\u00a0Sam Means and Nate Ruess did surprise fans at a 2020 viewing party<\/a>\u00a0for a Format concert film in downtown Phoenix with a full unplugged reunion concert.<\/p>\n

A day after that performance at Means\u2019 warehouse, Hello Merch, it was announced that they were doing\u00a0full-band shows in Phoenix, New York City and Chicago<\/a>, all selling out and leading to more shows being added in each market.<\/p>\n

Then COVID-19 forced them to reschedule several times before\u00a0finally pulling the plug on their reunion plans<\/a>, citing “continued uncertainty\u201d in early 2022.<\/p>\n

The sold-out State Fair concert is the first of three full-band performances they announced this summer, including sold-out dates at New York City\u2019s Beacon Theatre (Sept. 30 and Oct. 1) and Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles (Oct. 10).<\/p>\n
