Even though I joined YouTube Labs, I don\u2019t seem to have access to the experiment myself. I\u2019ve been playing YouTube Music off my phone for a little while writing this article, and I haven\u2019t heard the hosts just yet.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1ymtmqpi _17nnmdy1 _17nnmdy0 _1xwtict1\">Google has been <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2024\/10\/18\/24273411\/google-notebooklm-ai-audio-overview-customize\">steadily<\/a> <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2024\/12\/13\/24318099\/google-notebooklm-audio-overviews-talk-plus\">expanding<\/a> the capabilities of the AI hosts with NotebookLM to help users review and study different topics, so trying out a similar idea to YouTube Music makes some sense. The new YouTube Labs program also follows Google\u2019s <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/labs.google\/\">broader Labs program<\/a> for its AI experiments.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1ymtmqpi _17nnmdy1 _17nnmdy0 _1xwtict1\">Today, YouTube also announced that some of its Premium-only features have <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/support.google.com\/youtube\/thread\/376145315?hl=en\">expanded to more platforms<\/a>. For example, the jump ahead feature, which uses AI to skip to the most interesting part of a video, is now \u201cfully available\u201d on YouTube for TV and game consoles, YouTube says.
