Brandon Blackstock<\/strong><\/a>\u2019s daughter Savannah Blackstock<\/strong> is reflecting on her dad\u2019s death one month after his passing following a private battle with cancer.<\/p>\n

Savannah, 23, took to Instagram<\/a> on Thursday, September 24, with a message about grief and support from loved ones.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo far, 2025 has been a year full of \u2018Trust in the Lord and lean not on your own understanding.\u2019 As we\u2019re ending Quarter 3 I\u2019ve found myself looking back at all of the love and support my husband and I have had through the lows and heartbreak,\u201d she wrote. \u201cSeeing my dad sick and losing him was something I never imagined or could have possibly prepared myself for, let alone young and pregnant.\u201d (Savannah and husband Quentin Lee<\/strong> announced in July that they\u2019re expecting a baby girl in January 2026<\/a>. The couple also share son Lake, 3, and another daughter named Julianna.)<\/p>\n

Savannah continued, \u201cWe have had an overwhelming amount of love and support poured onto us over the past 6 months and we are eternally grateful.\u201d<\/p>\n

Yesterday, we lost a brother, a father, a grandfather and a son,\u201d Shelby, 35, wrote via Instagram on Friday, August 8. \u201cBrandon Blackstock was an irreplaceable part of our [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

A rep for Brandon confirmed to Us Weekly<\/em> that the former talent manager had died<\/a> on August 7. He was 48.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is with great sadness that we share the news that Brandon Blackstock has passed away. Brandon bravely battled cancer for more than three years. He passed away peacefully and was surrounded by family,\u201d the rep said in a statement. \u201cWe thank you for your thoughts and prayers and ask everyone to respect the family\u2019s privacy during this very difficult time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brandon shared Savannah and son Seth<\/strong>, 18, with ex Melissa Ashworth<\/strong>. He was also a dad to daughter River, 11, and son Remy, 9, with ex Kelly Clarkson<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Savannah paid tribute to Brandon<\/a> via Instagram after his death.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy daddy never fell short of making my dreams come true. No matter how high or how far, he made a way,\u201d she wrote on August 19. \u201cNot only did he make my dreams come true, he chased them with me. Worldwide he was there, my biggest cheerleader. He is my best friend, my voice of reason, and my favorite phone call every day.\u201d<\/p>\n

Savannah added that she bonded with her father over faith in their final six months together.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe always loved the Lord, but 6 months ago he sought the Lord. He was hungry for the word and we did it together,\u201d she continued. \u201cHe\u2019s gifted me more than I could\u2019ve asked for and deserved throughout my life, but 12 days ago he blessed me the most valuable gift I could\u2019ve asked for. The gift of knowing where he is today, in Heaven with our Savior.\u201d<\/p>\n
