28 Years Later<\/em> on Netflix:<\/strong> Whether you know it or not, we’re all headed to the Bone Temple. I mean that both literally and figuratively. Literally, in that the follow-up to Danny Boyle<\/strong> and Alex Garland<\/strong>‘s 28 Years Later<\/em> \u2014 subtitled The Bone Temple<\/em> and directed by Hedda<\/em>‘s Nia DaCosta<\/strong> \u2014 hits theaters in January, and everybody should go see it. And figuratively… well, you should probably just watch 28 Years Later<\/em> if you don’t get that part. The very good, surprisingly emotional zombie flick is now streaming on Netflix.<\/p>\nMore from Gold Derby<\/strong><\/p>\nSplitsville<\/em> on VOD: <\/strong>The Naked Gun<\/em> made a big splash, heralded as “The Return of the Theatrically Released Comedy,” but quietly unleashed into theaters a few weeks later was Splitsville<\/em>, the hilarious follow-up from the guys behind the under-seen The Climb<\/em>. The relationship comedy follows two couples \u2014 cowriter Kyle Marvin<\/strong> and Andor<\/em>‘s Adria Arjona<\/strong> in one and director-cowriter Michael Angelo Covino<\/strong> and Dakota Johnson<\/strong> in the other\u2014as they unpair and repair to the chaotic rhythms of modern life. This is destined to be an indie comedy modern classic.<\/p>\nGetting Killed<\/em> by Geese: <\/strong>The Brooklyn rock band released their fourth album today, and it’s already getting some of the year’s best reviews. Check out “Taxes” as a good entry point and then keep rocking from there. You’ll be able to seem really cool when the album blows up later.<\/p>\n
