BILL MAHER: Do you think that kids today, one of the reasons why they\u2019re having so much trouble sexually is that the adults have confused them?<\/p>\n
I mean, when I was in school, I mean homosexuality wasn\u2019t even discussed very much. I mean we knew it, and I didn\u2019t think that adults were particularly against it. It just wasn\u2019t brought up.<\/p>\n
And certainly nobody ever suggested to me I might be in the wrong body. I\u2019m not saying there aren\u2019t people who aren\u2019t in need of transing. I think it\u2019s rare, but they are.<\/p>\n
But I feel like they put it out in the school so much that maybe it had an ill effect. Do you think there\u2019s any truth to that?<\/p>\n
AIDAN WALKER: I think that when you were a kid and that was the situation, it led to a whole lot of problems too. We didn\u2019t talk about them.<\/p>\n
BILL MAHER: Like?<\/p>\n
AIDAN WALKER: Like people who weren\u2019t able to be their full selves. (Yeah) And I think online or off, (That\u2019s True) everybody should have a chance to be who they are in America and receive respect and dignity.<\/p>\n
BILL MAHER: You think we\u2019re doing the right amount.<\/p>\n
AIDAN WALKER: What\u2019d you say?<\/p>\n
BILL MAHER: So we\u2019re doing the right amount in schools.<\/p>\n
AIDAN WALKER: Well, I\u2019m not an educator, Bill. I talk about memes on the internet.<\/p>\n

And you aren\u2019t an educator either. You have a TV show.<\/p>\n

BILL MAHER: I think a lot of people would say I have educated them on a lot of subjects.<\/p>\n
AIDAN WALKER: I\u2019ve been educated by you too. I watched this when I was a kid.<\/p>\n
BILL MAHER: Okay \u2014 Let\u2019s not fight. I\u2019m glad you\u2019re here. And let me tell you, you\u2019re one of the youngest guests and you\u2019ve handled this better than a lot of ones who are twice your age. So I\u2019m all good with this.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
