Reality TV star Alana \u201cHoney Boo Boo\u201d Thompson was involved in a bad car accident recently.<\/p>\n
That\u2019s according to her mom, Mama June Shannon, who said in an Instagram post<\/a> on Friday that Thompson, 20 was hit while pulling her car out of the driveway of her Colorado home.<\/p>\n \u201cSomebody actually wasn\u2019t paying attention and T-boned her on her road,\u201d Shannon said in the video clip. \u201cThey are always speeding on the road.\u201d <\/p>\n Shannon said that Thompson was hit by a 23-year-old man who admitted he was speeding and \u201cprobably\u201d not watching where he was going.<\/p>\n \u201cBut anyway, with that being said, Alana is fine,\u201d Shannon said. \u201cShe was hit on the driver\u2019s side of her car. It could have been a lot worse. She was [taken] to the hospital. She does have back pain, she is having some headache issues, but we are headed to Denver to be able to get her a rental car and to get her set.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cShe is banged up a little bit but other than that she is OK,\u201d Shannon wrote in the caption of the post. \u201cFirst car wreck.\u201d<\/p>\n Thompson and Shannon starred in \u201cHere Comes Honey Boo Boo,\u201d which ran on TLC from 2012 to 2014.
