That\u2019s the best thing about art, there will always be more of it. But it\u2019s also the draw back for anyone keep to try and keep up \u2013 there will always be more of it. Making sure that nothing great is left behind, welcome to the <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/faroutmagazine.co.uk\/tags\/the-big-indie-playlist\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Big Indie Playlist.<\/a>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>We say this every single week it seems, but this week really was a strong one. In the world of LPs, some of this year\u2019s most hotly anticipated released were shared like <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/faroutmagazine.co.uk\/geese-getting-killed-album-review\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Geese\u2019s <em>Getting Killed<\/em>,<\/a> which stole our album of the week crown. Robert Plant released a new record, as did Cate Le Bon.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-grvmedia-grv-video GRVVideo GRVPrimisVideo\"\/>\n<p>But here, we\u2019re focussing in on the new singles and especially, the best work from ones to watch. Silly on the surface with depth under, <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/faroutmagazine.co.uk\/sophie-may-tiny-dictator-isolating-stigma-of-ocd\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">it\u2019s exactly what she does best<\/a> but this time with a \u201860s doo-wop finish.<strong> [4\/5]<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Florence and the Machine \u2013 \u2018One of The Greats\u2019: <\/strong>The type of song that should be scribbled on the walls of museums, Florence Welch does for the gullet of music\u2019s misogyny here with her most direct approach yet. <strong>[5\/5]<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Nell Mescal \u2013 \u2018See You Again\u2019: <\/strong>On her upcoming EP, Nell Mescal seems to have truly found her footing and sound with these indie-folk tunes that keep her voice and lyricism in the spotlight. This is a gorgeous one, looking at heartbreak from a side-angle for a fresh take on the timelessly universal feeling. <strong>[4\/5]<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sarah Kinsley \u2013 \u2018Fleeting\u2019: <\/strong>She\u2019s back and better than ever. The only word to describe Sarah Kinsley\u2019s work is euphoric and this track will make you feel like you\u2019re levitating or in some movie where you\u2019re the main character. <strong>[4\/5]<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Kate Bush \u2013 \u2018Rocket Man\u2019:<\/strong> Yes, that\u2019s right. Kate Bush. Sharing a new compilation of b-sides and covers, this Elton John rendition is a treat for the fans. <strong>[4\/5]<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Magdalena Bay \u2013 \u2018Second Sleep\u2019: <\/strong><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/faroutmagazine.co.uk\/magdalena-bay-imaginal-disk-album-review\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">Following up last year\u2019s incredible record<\/a> and a strong year of shows, Magdalena Bay are back with \u2018Second Sleep\u2019, applying their signature sound to a dreamy track that turns a nap into a cinematic event. <strong>[4\/5]<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>FKA Twigs \u2013 \u2018Cheap Hotel\u2019:<\/strong> FKA Twigs\u2019 unique artistry continues to elevate. Thick with vocal effect and lead by beats that hook you instantly, this perfectly bridges experimentation with infectiousness.<strong> [3.5\/5]<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sofia and the Antoinettes \u2013 \u2018Revolver\u2019:<\/strong> Going through it? Want to feel like you\u2019re in a Sofia Coppola movie? Look no further than the debut EP from Sofia and the Antoinettes and this luscious stand out track. <strong>[3.5\/5]<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Brogeal \u2013 \u2018Draw The Line\u2019:<\/strong> Combining traditional celtic sounds with an indie-rock sensibility, Brogeal deliver the hooking, arms in the air energy of iconic Britpop acts, but if those acts were plucked from a pub in Scotland. <strong>[3\/5]<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sofia Isella \u2013 \u2018Out In The Garden\u2019:<\/strong> I cannot stress enough how much you should be paying attention to Sofia Isella. An artist with such sharp vision to match her dark, gothic energy, it\u2019s creepy and utterly hypnotic. \u2018Out In The Garden\u2019 is the latest chapter, and one where her vocals sound better than ever. <strong>[4\/5]<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Blousey \u2013 \u2018Tried It With Her\u2019:<\/strong> Sharing their debut EP, Blousey are an indie act to be paying attention to. Covering all corners across the four tracks, this is a stand out as it builds, soars and has you dancing all the way. <strong>[3.5\/5]<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Looney Bergonzi \u2013 \u2018Year 6 Disco\u2019:<\/strong> If you\u2019re looking for a new act to brag you got on board with right at the start, here you go.
