Tom Holland revealed that he\u2019s \u201con the mend\u201d after suffering a concussion<\/a> on the set of \u201cSpider-Man: Brand New Day.\u201d<\/p>\n The actor, 29, gave an update on his health in a Saturday Instagram post<\/a> that promoted his recent gala in London for The Brothers Trust,\u00a0the charity he runs with his three brothers. Holland attended the Sept. 20 event with his fianc\u00e9 and co-star\u00a0Zendaya.<\/p>\n \u201cWhat a night! Another huge success,\u201d Holland captioned the\u00a0post<\/a>. \u201cThe Brothers Trust means more to me than I could possibly say and I have to say a huge thank you to my Mum and her wonderful friends for putting on another incredible night. Raising money for fantastic causes and having fun doing it!\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m sorry I had to leave early but I\u2019m feeling better and on the mend,\u201d the British actor said. \u201cA huge thanks to my Dad for taking over after I left. The show got considerably funnier.\u201d<\/p>\n Holland was allegedly treated for a mild concussion on Friday, Sept. 19 after he fell while filming at Leavesden Studios in Watford, England,\u00a0Daily Mail<\/a>\u00a0reported last week.<\/p>\n The outlet claimed he \u201ccracked his head\u201d following the stunt gone wrong.<\/p>\n Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures paused filming for Holland\u2019s recovery<\/a>. Production is expected to resume on Monday.<\/p>\n Sources told\u00a0The Hollywood Reporter<\/a> that the pause is not expected to affect the 2026 release of the superhero flick.<\/p>\n \u201cSpider-Man: Brand New Day\u201d\u00a0has been filming in Glasgow, Scotland, since August 1.<\/p>\n The new installment marks Holland\u2019s fourth stand-alone turn as Peter Parker\/Spider-Man, and will show the aftermath of 2021\u2019s \u201cNo Way Home\u201d and the events\u00a0before \u201cAvengers: Doomsday.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n Zendaya is expected to reprise her role as Spider-Man\u2019s love interest, Michelle \u201cMJ\u201d Jones. Other MCU stars set to appear in the film include Jacob Batalon\u00a0as Peter and MJ\u2019s BFF, Ned Leeds, Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk, Jon Bernthal as the Punisher and Michael Mando as the Scorpion.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, \u201cStranger Things\u201d star Sadie Sink and \u201cThe Bear\u201d actress Liza Col\u00f3n-Zayas have both been confirmed to join the cast.<\/p>\n
