Meet the Putmans <\/i>cousins Noah and Gia are still recovering from injuries they sustained<\/a> in the family\u2019s fatal car accident.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe wanted to share an update on Noah and Gia and ask that you continue to keep them in your prayers,\u201d a Sunday, September 28, statement on the family\u2019s Instagram<\/a> account read. \u201cNoah is still sedated, but we are so grateful to see that he is responding to us with movement. Every small sign reminds us that God is at work and hearing our prayers.\u201d<\/p>\n

Gia, meanwhile, underwent a craniotomy on Saturday, September 27.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are thankful to report that her care team shared some encouraging news, her brain pressure has gone down significantly,\u201d the family\u2019s statement noted. \u201cThis is a powerful reminder that God\u2019s hand is on her, guiding her healing every step of the way.\u201d<\/p>\n

February saw the deaths of \u201cKilling Me Softly With His Song\u2019 singer Roberta Flack and Gossip Girl alum Michelle Trachtenberg. Boxing great George Foreman died in March, [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Noah and Gia were recently involved in a fatal car crash<\/a>, where grandparents Bill<\/strong> and Barb Putman<\/strong> and Noah\u2019s mom, Megan Putman<\/strong>, were killed.<\/p>\n

\u201cThrough it all, we continue to hold tightly to our faith, knowing that God has a plan and a purpose for everything,\u201d the Sunday statement concluded. \u201cEven in the hardest moments, He is present [and] working in ways we may not yet understand. Thank you for all the continued prayers, love and support. We feel your strength and faith surrounding us.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Putmans further asked fans to \u201ckeep lifting Noah and Girl as they heal.\u201d<\/p>\n

A representative for the former TLC stars confirmed earlier on Saturday that Barb, Bill and Megan died in a \u201ctragic car accident.\u201d Bill and Barb shared sons Billy, Brandon and Blake, as well as daughter Blair.<\/p>\n

Blake, who was married to Megan for 18 years ahead of her tragic death, was also hospitalized following the crash. In addition to Noah, the couple were parents to Lulu and Alena, who each sustained injuries in the accident, as well.<\/p>\n

Gia, for her part, is one of the five daughters of Brandon and his wife, Kacie Putman<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Putmans starred on TLC\u2019s Meet the Putmans <\/i>in 2017, which chronicled their daily lives as an extended multi-generational family<\/a> of 25 living under one roof. The docuseries only aired for six episodes before it was later revived on YouTube in 2021 as Growing Up Putman.<\/i><\/p>\n
