We might not like the story, but imagine if people were phoning in.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">&#8220;All Hell Breaks Loose&#8221; shows the Halliwell sisters fighting a demon, getting exposed for magic, and losing Piper (Holly Marie Combs). Then, the season finale ends with time reversing to the beginning of the episode, where Piper and Prue (<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/ew.com\/person\/shannen-doherty\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:Shannen Doherty;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">Shannen Doherty<\/a>) are left mortally wounded.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The actors said that the episode was one of their least favorites but commended the late Doherty for her work on it. &#8220;All Hell Breaks Loose&#8221; was directed by Doherty and served as her last appearance on <em>Charmed<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Doherty was later unceremoniously <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/ew.com\/holly-marie-combs-disappointed-alyssa-milano-firing-comments-shannen-doherty-8559674\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\" data-ylk=\"slk:fired;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas\" class=\"link \">fired<\/a> and her character Prue Halliwell was killed off. <em>The<\/em> <em>House of Halliwell <\/em>hosts felt that this drama could not be separated from their viewing of the season 3 finale. They added that &#8220;under less-skilled directorial hands,&#8221; the show&#8217;s future would have been in danger.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">&#8220;Everyone did their job, believed in the story and the script, and trusted Shannen and her directing,&#8221; Fuller said. &#8220;And the performances are all incredible. And it looks great.
