TLC\u2019s \u201cMeet the Putmans\u201d stars gave an update on two of the family members that survived the deadly car accident<\/a> that killed three relatives. <\/p>\n On Friday night, family patriarch Bill \u201cPapa\u201d Putman, his wife Barb, who goes by \u201cNeenee,\u201d and their daughter-in-law Megan died in a crash near Detroit, while five other members of the Michigan-based family were hospitalized. <\/p>\n The Putmans released a statement<\/a> on Instagram Sunday with updates on Megan and Blake\u2019s son Noah and their niece Gia, along with pictures of each of them unconscious in the hospital.<\/p>\n \u201cWe wanted to share an update on Noah and Gia and ask that you continue to keep them in your prayers,\u201d the family wrote. <\/p>\n \u201cNoah is still sedated, but we are so grateful to see that he is responding to us with movement,\u201d the statement read. \u201cEvery small sign reminds us that God is at work and hearing our prayers.\u201d<\/p>\n Gia, meanwhile, \u201cunderwent a craniotomy\u201d Saturday night after the accident, the family said.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are thankful to report that her care team shared some encouraging news, her brain pressure has gone down significantly,\u201d Gia\u2019s loved ones shared. \u201cThis is a powerful reminder that God\u2019s hand is on her, guiding her healing every step of the way.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThrough it all, we continue to hold tightly to our faith, knowing that God has a plan and a purpose for everything,\u201d the Putmans continued. \u201cEven in the hardest moments, He is present, working in ways we may not yet understand.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThank you all for the continued prayers, love and support.
