Singer Annie Lennox<\/strong> has recently opened up about having ADHD<\/a> and how she thinks it\u2019s her \u201csuperpower.\u201d Recently, she appeared on BBC Radio 4\u2019s show, \u201cWoman\u2019s Hour,\u201d where she shared major life details with interviewer Nuala McGovern. The 70-year-old Eurythmics artist also claimed that she has been diagnosed as being a \u201cbit neurodivergent.\u201d<\/p>\n Annie Lennox is a renowned singer-songwriter who achieved global success as part of the music group Eurythmics in the 1980s. She recently joined presenter Nuala McGovern on BBC Radio 4\u2019s show, \u201cWoman\u2019s Hour,\u201d to shed light on her diagnosis.<\/p>\n The Daily Mail<\/a> reported the interview and mentioned what Lennox said during the show. She claimed, \u201cI\u2019m a magpie, I observe things, I\u2019m highly sensitive. And I found out that I actually am a bit neurodivergent.\u201d Further, she confirmed having ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) and revealed that she was aware of how her \u201cmind works.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s not an easy thing to live with, but it\u2019s also a superpower. I think it does bring brilliance \u2013 I\u2019m not saying that I am brilliant, but I\u2019ll take that!\u201d the philanthropist stated. She explained that she has always aspired to \u201cbrilliance\u201d through various \u201cmediums,\u201d including music. Hence, the curiosity to achieve the goal has made her what she is today.<\/p>\n Lennox also spoke about how her first music group, The Tourists, disbanded. But she got lucky when a \u201cnew A&R man\u201d took Eurythmics under his wing. \u201cIf it had not had worked I thought I would have to go back to Scotland,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n During her chat with McGovern, the \u201cSweet Dreams\u201d soloist further mentioned her time with fellow artist and English singer David Bowie.
