Professional golfer Jake Knapp confirmed the death of his 28-year-old girlfriend Makena White in an emotional statement.<\/p>\n
\u201cMakena was such a thoughtful person whose selflessness toward others is something I will always appreciate,\u201d Knapp told Page Six.<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n He described her as having \u201cfun, outgoing energy\u201d and stressed how much she will be missed.<\/p>\n The death of the young woman has many fans wondering about her cause of death. How White died was not released. Obsess.<\/a><\/p>\n White also wrote about visiting a cardiologist’s office. “The average age of patients at my cardiologist office is ~90 so I always make sure to ask as many people for life advice while I\u2019m here. I did just fix one man\u2019s hearing aid for him though,” she wrote on June 30.<\/a><\/p>\n On June 2, White wrote, “Happy RBC Canadian Open week & 1st week of June! 2 cardiac & 1 vascular surgery standing between me and watching my crush play in my home country! LTD!!!”<\/p>\n In another post, she revealed that she had a “heart defect.”<\/p>\n “The irony of being at a cardiac surgery conference (for my job) while wearing a holter monitor for your own heart defect is pretty funny. Great networking opener though!” White wrote.<\/a><\/p>\n White also opened up about her love for Knapp. “I love that boy so much,” she wrote in one X post.<\/a><\/p>\n “We shared so many unforgettable memories together and now that she\u2019s no longer with us, it\u2019s a tough reality to comprehend,\u201d Knapp added in his statement to Page Six.<\/em><\/p>\n A friend of White’s announced her death on White’s Instagram page on September 27.<\/p>\n “Hi everyone – this is Makena\u2019s friend, writing with the heaviest heart to share that Makena passed away earlier this week. She is already so deeply missed by her Dad, her family, her friends, and of course by Nelly and Fergie,” the friend wrote.<\/p>\n “Makena was one of a kind. She had this rare way of making you feel special, and her huge heart was always overflowing with love.
