According to a recent news story from Hello!<\/a><\/em>, it seems that King Charles wasn\u2019t the only family<\/a> member Prince Harry<\/a> visited during his four-day return to London. <\/p>\n

As reported by the publication, Harry made a brief stop at Kensington Palace to \u201cpersonally pay his respects and offer condolences\u201d to Prince Edward, the Duke of Kent, whose wife Katharine passed away earlier this September.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe has loved catching up with family, friends and colleagues,\u201d Hello!<\/em> quoted a source close to Harry as saying.<\/p>\n

\u201cHis only regret was not being able to stay longer and see more people, but the meetings in Ukraine had been in the diary for a long time and it mattered to him to be there in person to see the Invictus Games Foundation\u2019s growing work and the progress at Superhumans.\u201d<\/p>\n

As expected, Harry\u2019s return to the United Kingdom earned widespread media attention. In addition to making public appearances at the\u00a0WellChild\u00a0Awards and the Community Recording Studio (CRS), Harry also sat down for tea with his father, King Charles, marking the first major reunion between the two since February 2024.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe whole trip felt like a real success<\/a> for everyone involved,\u201d Hello!<\/em>\u2018s source continued by saying. \u201cHis passion for his patronages and the causes he cares about hasn\u2019t dimmed one bit \u2013 he\u2019s already buzzing to get back and do more.\u201d<\/p>\n

As Harry has repeatedly said, his return to the U.K. was meant as a way to put his strained relationship with the royal family behind him, allowing him to patch up the years-long distance between himself and his father.<\/p>\n
