In round three of their true-crime series Monster<\/em>, Ryan Murphy and Ian Brennan dive into the life of murderer Ed Gein (Charlie Hunnam), whose chilling crimes inspired Psycho<\/em>, among many other films. So yes, expect to see Alfred Hitchcock (Tom Hollander) pop up, along with\u00a0The Texas Chainsaw Massacre\u00a0<\/em>director Tobe Hopper (Will Brill).<\/p>\n

Chad Powers\u00a0<\/em>(Hulu, Tuesday, 12:01 a.m.)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Loki<\/em>\u2018s Michael Waldron and Glen Powell created this sports comedy, which was inspired by (of all things) an Eli Manning bit<\/a>. The series centers on a quarterback whose career takes a nosedive after an outburst. To jump back into the game years later, he disguises himself and starts playing for a college team in Georgia. Based on a novel by Reverend Richard Coles, this British thriller revolves around a priest (played by Matthew Lewis) who investigates a killing after a body is found in his church. Naturally, he\u2019s the only one who can both solve the case and bring a fractured community together.<\/p>\n

The Sisters Grimm\u00a0<\/em>(Apple TV+, Friday, 12:01 a.m.)<\/strong><\/p>\n

This animated series follows two orphaned sisters\u2014descendants of the Brothers Grimm\u2014as they try to uncover the truth about their family while living in a town full of fairytale heroes and villains. The voice cast for the show includes Ariel Winter, Laraine Newman, and Abubakar Salim.<\/p>\n
