NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) \u2014 Tennessee icon Dolly Parton turned to social media Sunday to announce the postponement of her upcoming concerts in Las Vegas, saying she\u2019s been dealing with some \u201chealth challenges\u201d and her doctors told her she needs to have a few procedures.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs I joked with them, it must be time for my 100,000-mile check-up, although it\u2019s not the usual trip to see my plastic surgeon!\u201d Parton said in a statement<\/a> released on Sunday, Sept. 28.<\/p>\n According to Parton\u2019s post, given the situation, she won\u2019t be able to rehearse and put together the show she wants her fans to see.<\/p>\n Dollywood announces \u2018Night Flight Expedition\u2019 ride coming in 2026<\/b> <\/a><\/p>\n \u201cYou pay good money to see me perform, and I want to be at my best for you. While I\u2019ll still be able to work on all of my projects from here in Nashville, I just need a little time to get show ready, as they say,\u201d the musician wrote. \u201cAnd don\u2019t worry about me quittin\u2019 the business because God hasn\u2019t said anything about stopping yet. But, I believe He is telling me to slow down right now so I can be ready for more big adventures with all of you.
