SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage<\/a>) \u2014 San Angelo is celebrating the release of Taylor Swift\u2019s 12th studio album, \u201cThe Life of a Showgirl,\u201d with movie showings and midnight releases.<\/p>\n

The album will drop on Oct. 3, as said by Swift on the \u201cNew Heights\u201c\u00a0podcast, hosted by her fianc\u00e9, Travis Kelce, and his brother Jason.<\/p>\n

San Angelo\u2019s Target<\/a>, located at 4235 Sunset Drive, will extend its hours on Thursday, Oct. 2. The store usually closes at 10 p.m. on Thursdays, but will be open until 1 a.m., and at midnight, the album CDs and vinyl variants will be brought out and available for customers to purchase.<\/p>\n

Customers can be in the building during the extended period, but the album will not be available until midnight.<\/p>\n

Beginning at 2 p.m. on Oct. 3, San Angelo\u2019s Cinemark Tinseltown<\/a> and Icon Cinema<\/a> will premiere \u201cThe Official Release Party of a Showgirl.\u201d<\/p>\n

As stated by both websites, the premiere will include the music video for \u201cThe Fate of Ophelia\u201d, and \u201cbehind-the-scenes footage from the music video shoot, brand new lyric videos, and Taylor\u2019s never-before-seen personal reflections on songs from the album.\u201d<\/p>\n

The cinema showings will run exclusively from Oct. 3 to Oct. 5.<\/p>\n
