Walton Goggins<\/strong><\/a> is embracing his popularity despite Pete Davidson<\/strong><\/a> predicting that fans will eventually grow tired of him.<\/p>\n Goggins, 53, took to Instagram<\/a> on Sunday, September 28, to share a Hollywood Reporter<\/a><\/em> article that reported on Davidson, 31, discussing Goggins\u2019 newfound fame. The article, published on Friday, September 26, and reporting on Theo Von<\/strong>\u2019s \u201cThis Past Weekend<\/a>\u201d podcast interview with Davidson, discussed Pedro Pascal<\/strong>\u2019s meteoric rise before the Saturday Night Live<\/em><\/a> alum threw Goggins\u2019 name out there.<\/p>\n \u201cLook at Pedro Pascal right now. Two years ago, he\u2019s a hardworking, great actor \u2026 [then] f***ing blows up so f***ing hard,\u201d Davidson told the outlet. \u201cAnd then a year later, he\u2019s, like, in everything now \u2026 and everyone\u2019s like, \u2018Go the f*** away, dude.\u2019 They\u2019re gonna do it with Walton Goggins, [he] will be next.\u201d<\/p>\n Goggins shared a screenshot of the Hollywood Reporter<\/em> article via Instagram, as well as several photos that captured Goggins\u2019 global travels, in addition to a lengthy caption. \u201cI saw this article and had to respond. (Pete was talking about his own experience),\u201d Goggins wrote. \u201cPete we don\u2019t know each other but I appreciate the heads up.\u201d<\/p>\n Noting that he agreed with Davidson \u201con one thing\u201d \u2014 how \u201cgreat\u201d a man Pascal, 50, is \u2014 Goggins addressed the fame he\u2019s seen since appearing in recent hit TV series like The White Lotus<\/em><\/a> and The Righteous Gemstones<\/em><\/a>. \u201cAs a 53 yr old, I\u2019m acutely aware that every experience has a shelf life. I appreciate so many of you going on this journey with me. I imagine a lot of you (and I don\u2019t blame you) are tired of hearing my homilies. Trust me I\u2019m tired of saying them,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n Goggins also encouraged fans to \u201cnot\u201d click on \u201csomething with my name on it,\u201d but if they did, he would appreciate the support. \u201cBeing included in this headline isn\u2019t a curse, it\u2019s a blessing. How lucky am I that this is even a possibility?!!,\u201d he wrote. \u201cWay more than a poor kid from GA would ever have the audacity to imagine. I wouldn\u2019t take one back.\u201d<\/p>\n The actor concluded, \u201cIf saying yes in life more than saying no is a crime, then I\u2019m guilty as charged. He also responded to a fan of the TV series Fallout<\/em>, of which Goggins also appeared in, who said she was \u201cso glad\u201d he appeared in season 1 of the show. \u201cI promise we won\u2019t let you down,\u201d Goggins wrote back to the fan.<\/p>\n His White Lotus<\/em> season 3 costar Patrick Schwarzenegger<\/strong> also left encouraging words on the post. \u201cKeep going brother \u2764\ufe0f,\u201d Schwarzenegger commented.<\/p>\n As for Pascal, who Goggins described as a \u201cdear friend of mine,\u201d Goggins also wrote in the comments section that he and the Eddington<\/em> actor will \u201ckeep showing up I promise.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
