Major talent agencies are reportedly in talks to sign AI<\/strong> actor Tilly Norwood<\/strong>, the first creation from Eline Van der Velden\u2019s AI talent studio Xicoia, a spin-off from her production company Particle6. Van der Velden revealed the development during a Zurich Summit panel, noting that an official agency announcement is expected in the coming months.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen we first launched Tilly, people were like, \u2018What\u2019s that?,\u2019 and now we\u2019re going to be announcing which agency is going to be representing her in the next few months,\u201d Eline Van der Velden said (via Deadline<\/a>).<\/p>\n Van der Velden explained that studios initially dismissed AI in early 2025 but shifted their stance by mid-year. \u201cWe were in a lot of boardrooms around February time, and everyone was like, \u2018No, this is nothing. It\u2019s not going to happen.\u2019 Then, by May, people were like, \u2018We need to do something with you guys,\u2019\u201d she told Deadline. Tilly Norwood has already appeared in her debut comedy sketch AI Commissioner, which she announced on her social media page.<\/p>\n AI talent studio Xicoia was launched to create, manage, and monetize hyperreal digital performers. Van der Velden stated, \u201cWe want Tilly to be the next Scarlett Johansson or Natalie Portman, that\u2019s the aim of what we\u2019re doing.\u201d She added on LinkedIn, \u201cAudiences? They care about the story \u2014 not whether the star has a pulse. The age of synthetic actors isn\u2019t \u2018coming\u2019 \u2014 it\u2019s here\u201d (via Broadcast International<\/a>).<\/p>\n Verena Puhm, head of Luma AI\u2019s Studio Dream Lab LA, agreed that studios were adopting AI quietly. \u201cSome said, \u2018Oh, no, we\u2019re not using AI.\u2019 I knew some were lying, they were already secretly working on some stuff, but some were not open to it at all.
