Dolly Parton has postponed an upcoming appearance in Las Vegas due to \u201chealth challenges,\u201d according to a Sept. 28 announcement the singer published on Instagram.<\/p>\n
\u201cAs I joked with them, it must be time for my 100,000-mile check-up, although it\u2019s not the usual trip to see my plastic surgeon,\u201d Parton wrote in the post. She went on to say that she planned to continue to work on \u201call of her projects from here in Nashville.<\/p>\n
\u201cI just need a little time to get show ready, as they say. And don\u2019t worry about me quittin\u2019 the business because God hasn\u2019t said anything about stopping yet.\u201d<\/p>\n
So far, 2025 has seen the 79-year-old Country Music and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer launch a Broadway-ready musical<\/a>, symphony<\/a> concert performance and a forthcoming downtown Nashville hotel<\/a>. You pay good money to see me perform, and I want to be at my best for you,” she added in her post.
