And as Zach Bryan<\/strong> looked out into the crowd of his sold-out show on Saturday night, he could hardly believe his eyes.<\/p>\n Staring out into the sea of adoring fans at Michigan Stadium<\/strong> in Ann Arbor, Bryan, 29, admitted to achieving a personal milestone in that very moment. “This might be the craziest thing I’ve ever done.”<\/p>\n The show reportedly sold<\/a> over 112,000 tickets, making it the largest ticketed concert in United States history.<\/p>\n Michigan Stadium is the home of the Michigan Wolverines<\/strong>, the fans of which have dubbed the sprawling facility the Big House. Not only is it the largest venue in the United States, but it’s also the third-largest in the world.<\/p>\n Final ticket sales for Bryan’s record-setting performance aren’t official yet, but if estimates are correct, he’ll take the throne from George Straight, who previously held the record with just shy of 111,000 tickets sold.<\/p>\n The magnitude of the record-setting event was not lost on Bryan, who shouted, “Thank you so much for the best night of my life.” If Bryan sounded humbled, it was sincere.<\/p>\n Only a few short years ago, Bryan believed himself to be destined for a smaller spotlight. \u201cI\u2019m too writing-driven to be a big star,\u201d he told Rolling Stone<\/a> in 2022. \u201cI\u2019m not meant for it.\u201d However, it seems that the only person who felt that way was Bryan himself.<\/p>\n It’s not only fans who find Bryan’s music so captivating and compelling \u2014 his peers feel the same.
