Throughout the album, she offers up her singular brand of country, bolstered with plenty of rock and soulful influences. The set finds her playing guitar, bass, violin and banjo, while singing songs that feel both raw with emotion yet refined in delivery. \u201cQuit You\u201d looks at addictions both literal and emotional, while \u201cHeavy Metal\u201d delves into the heartache of an enduring yet unsatisfying marriage. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t\u201cGirlfriend\u201d is fueled by blistering angst from unrequited love and \u201cOnly Child\u201d is a heart-tearing song about the highs and lonely lows of growing up as an only child. \u201cI Used to Love Him\u201d is a somber, moody track reflecting emotional maturity, capturing the painful realization that a passionate romance doesn\u2019t make two people right for each other. This feels like a debut that makes a powerful, defining statement about Colins\u2019s artistry and vision. Written by Swindell, Joel Hutsell, Greylan James and Blake Pendergrass, \u201cMake Heaven Crowded\u201d was inspired by a speech given by Erika Kirk, the widow of conservative political activist Charlie Kirk, in the wake of Kirk\u2019s passing earlier this month. But ultimately, the song is a tenderly-rendered plea for unity as well as compassion and generosity toward others, no matter their political persuasion, on lines such as \u201c[If] we all quit throwin\u2019 punches and held out a helping hand.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t<strong>Kevin Powers and Shaboozey, \u201cMove On\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube\"\/>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tThis fiddle-laced, jangly country number from Powers and Shaboozey captures them wrestling with just how swiftly an ex-lover was able to cast aside a relationship\u2019s memory. Swaths of pedal steel and a relentless percussion give the song drive and energy, while their voices have a seamless chemistry.  Powers is the first artist signed to Shaboozey\u2019s American Dogwood <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/pro\/shaboozey-record-label-signs-first-artist\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/pro\/shaboozey-record-label-signs-first-artist\/\">label<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t<strong>Avery Anna, \u201cGirl of Constant Sorrow\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube\"\/>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tAvery Anna\u2019s songwriting prowess and soothing voice have made her a fan favorite thanks to songs such as \u201cBreakup Over Breakfast\u201d and the Sam Barber collaboration \u201cIndigo.\u201d But here, she gives one of her most captivating vocal performances to date, on a reimagined version of Joan Baez\u2019s classic. \u201cSome folks they think that I\u2019m an angel\/ But I\u2019ve got holes inside my wings,\u201d she sings. Understated guitar lets her honey-sweet vocal stay at the song\u2019s center, as she sings of returning to Arizona to find a place of respite from the world\u2019s troubles.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t<strong>Benjamin Tod (feat. Shooter Jennings), \u201cOutlaw Shit\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube\"\/>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tBenjamin Tod and Shooter Jennings team up for a re-envisioned version of Waylon Jennings\u2019s posthumously-released 2008 song \u201cOutlaw Shit,\u201d which itself was a slowed down, more mournful retelling of Jennings\u2019 1978 song \u201cDon\u2019t You Think This Outlaw Bit\u2019s Done Got Out of Hand.\u201d Over a mashup of fiddles and guitars, Tod and Jennings blend their rough-hewn voices on a song about consequences for older vices and choices, pondering when the consequences of those actions outweigh the vices themselves. Jennings and Tod do an exemplary job of bringing this classic to a new generation, while showing utmost respect for the original.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\t<strong>Ty Myers, \u201cCome On Over, Baby\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube\"\/>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto  lrv-a-font-body-m   \">\n\tMyers continues his bluesy-country musical style on this flirty, come-hither track.
