Rock star Jon Bon Jovi recently spoke up in support of his son\u2019s marriage to \u201cStranger Things\u201d star Millie Bobby Brown, despite the two being in their early 20s.<\/p>\n
Bon Jovi\u2019s son, Jake Bongiovi, married Brown in May of 2024. At the time, the singer\u2019s son was 22 and Brown was 20.<\/p>\n
On a recent appearance on Bunnie XO\u2019s podcast \u201cDumb Blonde,\u201d Bon Jovi said that \u201cwe blessed it because we get it, you know?\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThey\u2019re sorta mature beyond their years,\u201d Bon Jovi said. \u201cShe comes from a family where her parents are still together and they married very young.\u201d<\/p>\n
The \u201cLivin\u2019 on a Prayer\u201d singer added that \u201cher and Jake fell in love and we just thought, \u2018OK, we\u2019ll support this.\u2019 And it\u2019s working out.\u201d<\/p>\n
Bongiovi and Brown have also added to the family by adopting a baby girl earlier this year.<\/p>\n
Fox News reports<\/a> that Bon Jovi married his high school sweetheart Dorothea Hurley in 1989, when he was 27.<\/p>\n And now, Bon Jovi said, he is excited to be a grandfather.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s crazy, but great,\u201d he said on the podcast. \u201cWonderful. They adopted a girl, we met the baby obviously and immediately that becomes your grandchild, you know what I mean?
