This summer, every it girl on my Instagram feed swapped their denim cut-offs for ruffled bloomers<\/a> straight out of the Victorian period. Sabrina Carpenter<\/a>, Dua Lipa<\/a>, Sydney Sweeney<\/a>, Doechii<\/a>\u2014the list of supporters goes on and on.<\/p>\n

Since fall has officially begun and jeans have resumed their spot on regular rotation, I’ve missed their billowy, 1850s-era presence. But on Sept. 29, Jennifer Lopez<\/a> proved bloomers can<\/em> indeed be fall-friendly, when styled right.<\/p>\n
