Online<\/a><\/p>\n Bruce Springsteen<\/strong><\/a> and Patti Scialfa<\/strong>\u2019s love story is a recipe for success.<\/p>\n Indeed, Jeremy Allen White<\/a><\/strong> revealed how he looked at the legendary rocker\u2019s New Jersey upbringing and his 34-year marriage to the E Street Band<\/strong> member while getting into character as Bruce for the biopic Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere. <\/p>\n “I remember going to his [childhood] home in Freehold before we started filming, and seeing the life that he has with Patti,” The Bear star exclusively told E! News’ Nikaline McCarley<\/strong> Sept. 28 at the 63nd New York Film Festival’s Springsteen: Deliver Me from Nowhere premiere. “I saw that he built the life that he wanted to build.”<\/p>\n He continued, “I realized that’s what the movie is about, is Bruce making the decisions that got him here, where we see him today.”<\/p>\n Taking on the role of The Boss\u2014who shares children Evan<\/strong>, 35, Jessica<\/strong>, 33, and Samuel<\/strong>, 31, with Patti his wife of 34 years\u2014was no easy feat for White, who had no musical background.<\/p>\n For White, playing a rock star of the E Street Band frontman’s caliber was far more challenging than playing a chef on The Bear, for which he has won two Emmys<\/a>.<\/p>\n “I did half, a quarter, and eighth of the kind of time that Bruce had on stage in this movie,” he said, “and it is nonstop, it is exhausting, the singing is exhausting.
