Roseanne Barr<\/strong> is poised to make a Hollywood comeback, a source tells National Enquirer<\/em>.<\/p>\n The comedian, who was fired from her Roseanne<\/em> revival on ABC over a racist tweet in 2018, railed against the network for its \u201cdouble standard<\/a>\u201d in putting Jimmy Kimmel<\/strong> back on the air after his controversial comments.<\/p>\n \u201cShe\u2019s still angry by the way she was treated,\u201d says the source, but her hope is that some people will realize \u201cshe was right\u201d about deserving the same forgiveness.<\/p>\n In 2018, two months after the reboot of her groundbreaking family sitcom \u2014 which was known for tackling taboo subjects with edgy humor during its original 1988 to 1997 run \u2014 Barr described Barack Obama<\/strong>\u2019s former advisor Valerie Jarrett<\/strong> as if \u201cmuslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby\u201d in tweet.<\/p>\n Barr, 72, deleted the post and apologized for the \u201cbad joke<\/a>\u201d on the same day, but her character was killed off and her eponymous show was renamed The Conners<\/em>.<\/p>\n She later claimed she had taken sleep medication when she posted the message and thought Jarrett was white<\/a>.<\/p>\n Jimmy Kimmel Live!<\/em> was temporarily suspended<\/a> after the host, 57, suggested Charlie Kirk<\/strong>\u2019s killer may have been part of the \u201cMAGA gang.\u201d<\/p>\n While his show was reinstated<\/a> less than a week later, Barr, 72, pointed out that her \u201cwhole life was ruined\u201d following her mistake, she told<\/a> NewsNation<\/em> on Wednesday, September 24.<\/p>\n But she still has some fans in Hollywood, says the source, \u201cand might get her chance\u201d to return to TV. \u201cShe would be open to a new gig.
