Mira Sorvino<\/strong> took a wild walk down memory lane and reminisced about the time that Charlie Sheen<\/strong> once got down on one knee \u2014 well, not exactly.<\/p>\n

The Mighty Aphrodite<\/em> alum, 58, told Page Six<\/em><\/a> recently that the Two and a Half Men<\/em> actor, 60, had asked \u201c[her] to marry [him] in the car\u201d while he was abusing drugs at the time.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I said, \u2018Not like this,\u2019 because he was high on crack, he said, \u2018OK, can I light up then?\u2019 He had a crack pipe in the car, and I was like, \u2018No,\u2019\u201d she recalled.<\/p>\n

She then noted how she implored Sheen to seek help for his substance issues and followed him around as he \u201cdisappear[ed] into rooms with people for two hours at a time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite the non-engagement, Sorvino still has love for the Scary Movie 3<\/em> star. \u201cHe was very beloved to me,\u201d Sorvino said. \u201cWe had worked together before. Our fathers were dear friends.<\/p>\n

The Romy and Michele\u2019s High School Reunion<\/em> starlet\u2019s father was acclaimed actor Paul Sorvino<\/strong>, who died in 2022, while Sheen\u2019s dad is Apocalypse Now<\/em> icon Martin Sheen<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

As Star<\/em> previously reported<\/a>, the Spin City<\/em> alum included an anecdote about Sorvino in his new memoir The Book of Sheen<\/em>, in which he claimed that she offered to spend a night with him if he turned himself in to law enforcement after he violated his probation in 1998.<\/p>\n

While \u201con the lam\u201d following a near-fatal cocaine overdose, he headed over to Guns N\u2019 Roses artist Slash<\/strong>\u2019s home where he ran into Sorvino.<\/p>\n

Slash, 60, begged him to go to rehab, while Sorvino, according to Sheen, told him: \u201cI will sleep with you \u2014 if you just promise to get yourself to court this morning.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the same chat with Page Six<\/em>, Sorvino set the record straight, explaining: \u201cI don\u2019t think it actually went down like that. I would beg to differ.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
