(NewsNation<\/a>) \u2014 Jennifer Lopez<\/a> is opening up about what her life is like a year after filing for divorce from Ben Affleck. <\/p>\n In an interview with \u201cCBS Sunday Morning\u201d to discuss her upcoming movie<\/a> \u201cKiss of the Spider Woman,\u201d the \u201cPlay\u201d singer talked about how hard it was for her to go through her marriage falling apart while filming the movie. <\/p>\n Do 50% of marriages end in divorce? Data says not so fast <\/a><\/p>\n The movie wrapped production two months before she filed for divorce from Affleck<\/a> in August 2024, according to USA Today<\/a>. <\/p>\n \u201cBarely. It was tough. And then back home, it was not great. It was like, \u2018Oh, how do I reconcile this?\u2019\u201d <\/p>\n The \u201cJenny from the Block\u201d singer and the \u201cArgo\u201d director married in July 2022, reuniting nearly 20 years after their highly publicized relationship and engagement ended. <\/p>\n Affleck and Lopez finalized their divorce<\/a> in February 2025. <\/p>\n Dolly Parton postpones Las Vegas concert dates citing \u2018health challenges\u2019 <\/a><\/p>\n The former couple was also trying to sell their $60 million Beverly Hills mansion. They purchased the home in 2023, but had trouble selling it, which ended with them paying tens of thousands of dollars a month for upkeep, according to NewsNation\u2019s Paula Froelich<\/a>. <\/p>\n As of July 2025, the mansion still hasn\u2019t been sold and was taken off the market, according to Realtor.<\/a> <\/p>\n Lopez said that the end of the marriage<\/a> is something she just had to push through, but says it worked out in the end. <\/p>\nJennifer Lopez: New movie helped during divorce from Ben Affleck<\/h2>\n
