The ’90s were a magical time for country music fans. The decade produced some of the most beloved acts in the genre’s history in a way that eclipsed the decades before (and some would agree, since).<\/p>\n
One of the original voices of the ’90s country revival has caught a bit of the nostalgia bug himself. In a post on social media, he shouted out his album with a video clip of a song from I See It Now, which came out 31 years ago, saying: “Man, this sure feels like yesterday!”<\/p>\n
Fans were thankful for the throwback, noting that for them it felt just like yesterday too, and filled his comment section with praise and memories.<\/p>\n
“I saw him in concert before he made it really big. What an honor!! Still a fan,” wrote one follower.<\/p>\n
“Wow! I begged my parents to make sure to be at the store the day it hit the shelves,” reminisced another fan.<\/p>\n

Of the ten, the album produced four beloved singles: the title track, If the World Had a Front Porch, Texas Tornado, and As Any Fool Can See. It marked his third studio album<\/a>. The sound was a blend of traditional country tunes with heartfelt ballads and helped cement his standing in the country music world. The title track peaked at No. 2 on the Hot Country Songs chart and No. 84 on the Billboard Hot 100.<\/p>\n In a 2023 interview on the Get Real with Caroline Hobby podcast, he expressed a deep appreciation for the album<\/a>, stating: Texas Tornado surpassed the title track on the Hot Country Songs chart, hitting No. 1. Released in 1995, it marked his sixth overall top hit.<\/p>\n Currently, he is touring the U.S.<\/a>, with dates consistently scheduled from October 2 to December 12.
