Ahead of the show\u2019s return in 2026, it has been confirmed that not all of Daredevil: Born Again<\/a><\/strong>\u2018s fan-favorite characters will be returning for the Disney+ revival\u2019s upcoming second season. Since its debut earlier this year, the superhero series has received a Certified Fresh score of 87% on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 223 reviews. However, this is still 5% lower than the original show\u2019s Season 1 rating.<\/p>\n

Who isn\u2019t returning in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2?<\/h2>\n

Despite his shocking death in Season 1, many fans were still hoping that Foggy Nelson would somehow make a return, leading to numerous theories about how the show could bring him back. Now, during the Daredevil panel at the recent LA Comic Con, Elden Henson finally addressed the possibility of Foggy\u2019s potential return in Daredevil: Born Again Season 2. Unfortunately for fans, Henson immediately shot down the rumors, revealing that he won\u2019t be reprising Foggy in Season 2.<\/p>\n

\u201cI hate to be the bearer of bad news, but it\u2019s just not happening,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Daredevil: Born Again is executive-produced by showrunner Dario Scardapane, Kevin Feige, Louis D\u2019Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, and more. The ensemble cast includes Charlie Cox<\/a> as Matt Murdock\/Daredevil, Vincent D\u2019Onofrio as Wilson Fisk\/Kingpin, Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle\/Punisher, Ayelet Zurer as Vanessa Fisk, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Margarita Levieva as Heather, Genneya Walton as BB Urich, Nikki M. James as Kirsten, Clark Johnson as Cherry, and Michael Gandolfini as Daniel.<\/p>\n

Season 2 will also introduce new cast members Matthew Lillard and Lili Taylor, along with returning Marvel star Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones<\/a>. This will serve as the latter\u2019s Marvel Cinematic Universe debut after the Netflix show ended its three-season run in 2019. Following Ritter\u2019s casting, fans have also started speculating that the rest of The Defenders might also be appearing in Season 2, including Mike Colter\u2019s Luke Cage and Finn Jones\u2019 Iron Fist<\/a>.<\/p>\n
