It was a family affair when 19-year-old Sadie Dahl <\/strong>from Draper, UT, came to The Voice for her Blind Audition. She had both her mother and her grandmother along with her, which isn\u2019t unusual, but it turned out that Grandma Linda<\/strong> is the biggest fan of The Voice, and also watches The Voice Australia and The Voice UK.<\/p>\n \u201cShe shows me new music and artists that she\u2019s found,\u201d Sadie said, as well as a documentary that her grandmother discovered on coach Snoop Dogg<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201cThe advice I would give her is to sing from her heart because the coaches turn when they feel emotion,\u201d Grandma Linda said.<\/p>\n \ud83c\udfa4\u00a0<\/strong>SIGN UP for our The Voice newsletter to get access to exclusive news, interviews, insider info, sneak peeks & more<\/strong><\/a>\ud83c\udfa4<\/strong><\/p>\n That advice paid off, and Sadie made her grandma proud when she received a four-chair turn for her rendition of \u201cColors\u201d by Black Pumas<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Despite the four-chair turn, it turned out that Sadie could only pick from Snoop, Niall Horan<\/strong> and Reba McEntire<\/strong>, because Niall had used his Block to make sure that Sadie couldn\u2019t choose Team Bubl\u00e9.<\/p>\n \u201cSadie, Sadie, Sadie, 19 years old and singing like that,\u201d Snoop said. \u201cAs I listened to your vocals, I hear so many different ranges of tone and delivery, and how you\u2019re so professionally strong on stage. I hear some pop, I hear some soul, I hear some R&B. I hear a little bit of everything and how you can have your way with it, so if you choose me as your coach, I think we\u2019d make great music, and I think you\u2019d have a great career after this show.\u201d<\/p>\n Then it was Niall\u2019s turn to pitch Sadie, but first he wanted to gloat. He said, \u201cYou know what I love the most? When we all started to spin around, and I blocked\u00a0Bubl\u00e9. It actually got better. Any of the artists I\u2019ve developed while on this show, when I work with them, I try to curate a 10-track album. So when you leave this place and you walk into the door of a record label, you\u2019re, \u2018these are my performances from The Voice and this is the kind of thing I do.\u2019 I am your guy. I promise.\u201d<\/p>\n Reba was next in trying to sell herself to Sadie. She said, \u201cWow, you can definitely win this thing. That was mesmerizing. It\u2019s so different what you do. So, way to go. I\u2019d love to have you on my team. But wherever you land, I\u2019m just very proud for The Voice that you\u2019re on The Voice.\u201d<\/p>\n It was with a long face that Michael Bubl\u00e9<\/strong> chimed in. He said, \u201cI\u2019m deeply devastated and disappointed for myself. I mean, Snoop Dogg is one of the greatest musicians on the planet. When I think of somebody who has changed the face of music, I think of Snoop Dogg. And then, you have Niall. I will cheer for you the whole time. Sadie, it is now time to pick who will be your coach.\u201d<\/p>\n But Snoop had some last words, \u201cSadie, dare to be different. Just like you are.\u201d<\/p>\n Sadie chose to go Team Snoop. Michael\u2019s words probably didn\u2019t hurt nor did the fact that her grandmother had shown her the documentary on his career.<\/p>\n Snoop was ecstatic, adding, \u201cSadie was a great win. I love her voice, her style, and her uniqueness. I feel she can win the show.\u201d<\/p>\n Then he told Sadie, her mom, and Grandma Linda, \u201cY\u2019all are not going to believe it, but before I came out here, I was listening to a song from The Spinners<\/strong> called \u2018Sadie.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n As for Niall, well, he was having second thoughts.
