Paige Herschell<\/strong>, who plays Jacinda<\/strong>, reveals her intentions toward Rory Gibson\u2019s Michael<\/strong> on General Hospital<\/span><\/strong>. She made her debut in April, when Nina and Portia recruited her to drug Drew in exchange for a hefty paycheck. Although she left for Australia shortly after, she has now returned to team up with Michael in Drew\u2019s shooting case. Herschell opens up that Jacinda\u2019s connection to Michael goes beyond money, suggesting there is more to her motives than simple greed.<\/p>\n Herschell reveals that it\u2019s true that Jacinda is attracted to Michael\u2019s money, but she also senses a chemistry between them.<\/strong><\/p>\n In a conversation with Soap Opera Digest<\/a>, she revealed, \u201cA character can be both, right? She can be money-motivated and also, there could be some chemistry there \u2014 and I think there is.\u201d Appreciating Gibson\u2019s portrayal of Michael, she added, \u201cI mean, with Rory, he probably has chemistry with a lamp!\u00a0Anybody\u00a0could have chemistry with Rory because he\u2019s so great.\u201d<\/p>\n While Jacinda does have a manipulative side, Herschell believes that being with Michael has also brought out her softer side. She also hinted at exploring new sides of Jacinda\u2019s character and expressed enthusiasm about where these changes could take the narrative. Revealing how she added a personal touch to her character, she noted, \u201cI\u2019ve let a little bit more of Paige come out in Jacinda, and hopefully, I\u2019m a sweet person! But I\u2019m trying to give her a bit more humanity.\u201d<\/p>\n Herschell acknowledges that Jacinda tends to trick people and get what she needs, with her true motives still unknown. \u201cAnd who knows why she is doing it? Maybe for some enjoyment and excitement, because sometimes people do that \u2014 they follow the fun drama they\u2019ve created for themselves.
