There is no shortage of possible motives, as Drew is one of the most nefarious villains in the ongoing storyline of the soap. Several characters have reasons to try to take him out. One of the popular suspects is Katelyn MacMullen\u2019s Willow Tait, who wanted Drew and Michael gone to gain back the custody of her kids.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Fans believe that Willow could have been the one to pull the trigger. The emotional distress has been piling up for Willow for a while, and it seems she has a strong motive to take Drew out.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">With Drew out of the picture, the blame could fall on Michael due to the tension between them, and send him away for good, killing two birds with one stone. If this happens, Willow can finally meet her kids and gain back their custody. Having said that, the show has yet to reveal the face behind the conspiracy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">With no official confirmation of who the shooter is, the suspect list hasn\u2019t been narrowed down yet. Besides Willow, many other characters could have planned to kill him. It could be Michael himself, or Curtis, Portia, Carly, Nina, and others.
