There\u2019s nothing like settling in to watch your favorite soap then bam \u2014 it\u2019s not on\u2026 and if you were looking forward to a new episode of General Hospital<\/i> today then we have some bad news for viewers. Due to special programming for Major League Baseball, the ABC soap will not be seen on Tuesday, September 30 or Wednesday, October 1 \u2014 and possibly longer.<\/p>\n

News of the scheduling change first came yesterday when ABC\u2019s programming executive Nathan Varni alerted fans through X. \u201cDue to MLB daytime games this week, new episodes of GH<\/i> will air Monday, Thursday and Friday,\u201d he shared then went on to explain, \u201cThursday is tentative based on [Wednesday\u2019s] game results. Sorry for the interruptions, have a great week!\u201d<\/p>\n

We\u2019ll be sure to keep our readers updated if the show won\u2019t be seen on Thursday as well, depending on, like Varni stated, the previous day\u2019s baseball game results.<\/p>\n
