Kai Cenat<\/a> says he turned down a $60 million deal promoting \u201cgambling<\/a> and stuff like that\u201d back in 2023.<\/p>\n During a recent conversation with special guest Kirk Franklin<\/a>, the streaming star first spoke about what he believes one can learn from \u201cthe letdowns and the failures\u201d in life while on the path toward \u201ca greater purpose.\u201d This ultimately led to a mention of a deal Cenat says he turned down during his first-ever Mafiathon<\/em><\/a> streaming marathon.<\/p>\n \u201cI learned that not all money is good money,\u201d Kai said, as seen below. \u201cLike a lot of the times, there\u2019s gonna be times and opportunities where you\u2019re gonna wanna get money to do certain things that you wouldn\u2019t normally do. Like, 2023, my first Mafiathon<\/em> ever, I was offered like $60 million. $60 million to do something that I did not want to do, which is like gambling and stuff like that. I didn\u2019t wanna take it because I knew it would mess me up. Obsess.<\/a><\/p>\n At the time, Kai pointed out, he had already reached a state of \u201cfinancial freedom,\u201d thus enabling him to reject the offer.<\/p>\n \u201cI said no,\u201d he added. \u201cThe first thing I did, I went to my closet. We got off the call, I went into my closet, and I just asked God. I said, \u2018Listen. \u2026 I\u2019mma say no right now.\u2019 I don\u2019t wanna take the short-term. I wanna be able to take the long-term.\u201d<\/p>\n From there, Kai and Kirk engaged in a larger conversation about the divide between those with financial freedom and those who struggle to make ends meet on a day-to-day basis. Kai acknowledged this disparity, as well as underscored the dangers of those who continue to chase money for money\u2019s sake after achieving that freedom on their own.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t want all the money in the world,\u201d he said. \u201cI don\u2019t care to have all the money.\u201d<\/p>\n This weekend, Kai added another milestone to his roster of achievements in the streaming space by hitting a million subs.
