Melody\u2019s Echo Chamber<\/a> has announced a new album, Unclouded<\/em>, and accompanying tour of the United States and Europe. Below, check out the dates and watch the gauzy, Diane Sagnier\u2013directed video for \u201cIn the Stars.\u201d Domino<\/a> is releasing the Emotional Eternal<\/em> follow-up on December 5.<\/p>\n

The title of Unclouded<\/em> is taken from a Hayao Miyazaki quote about achieving equilibrium, a press release notes: \u201cYou must see with eyes unclouded by hate. See the good in that which is evil, and the evil in that which is good. Pledge yourself to neither side.\u201d Melody Prochet adds, \u201cI used to feel nostalgic growing into adulthood, but now that I understand that concept of impermanence, I don\u2019t take it as personally anymore.\u201d<\/p>\n

Prochet made the album with co-producer and co-writer Sven Wunder; strings player Josefin Runsteen; Dina \u00d6gon guitarist Daniel \u00d6gen and bassist Love Orsan (\u201cmasters of the velvet groove,\u201d says Prochet); Heliocentrics drummer Malcolm Catto; and Dungen guitarist Reine Fiske. The recent El Michels Affair collaboration \u201cDaisy<\/a>\u201d also appears on the LP.<\/p>\n
