Prince William has opened up about missing Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip – saying there’s “been quite a bit of change” – in a new show with actor Eugene Levy.<\/p>\n

William<\/a><\/strong> talks about his grandparents with the Schitt’s Creek star in an episode of travel series The Reluctant Traveller, filmed around Windsor Castle.<\/p>\n

As William speaks about Queen Elizabeth II, he says warmly “for me Windsor is her”.<\/p>\n

While looking out of one of the castle windows at the countryside, Mr Levy asks: “Do you miss your grandmother?”<\/p>\n

William replies: “I do actually, yeah, I do miss my grandmother, and my grandfather.<\/p>\n

“It’s been quite a bit of change, so you do sort of, you think about them not being here any more, and particularly being in Windsor – for me Windsor is her.”<\/p>\n

Talking about how much Windsor meant to the Queen, he adds: “She loved it here, she spent most of her time here.<\/p>\n

“Showing you around today is very much a case of trying to make sure I’m doing it in the way she’d want you to see it,” says William.<\/p>\n

“She had her horses here as well – as you can imagine that was a big deal for her – so that’s why she loved it here.”<\/p>\n

Last week, a trailer for the episode Living The Royal Life In The UK revealed how William also talks about how difficult it was for him last year<\/a><\/strong>, when both the Princess of Wales and the King were diagnosed with cancer.<\/p>\n

“I’d say 2024 was the hardest year I’ve ever had,” he says.<\/p>\n

“Life is said to test us as well, and being able to overcome that is what makes us who we are.”<\/p>\n

The preview of that episode also saw Levy invited to “pop down” to Windsor Castle for a private tour by the prince.<\/p>\n

Levy, 78, can be seen reading out an invitation saying: “I heard that your travels have brought you to the UK and I wondered if you might like to see Windsor Castle?<\/p>\n

“If you’re free at 10 tomorrow, why don’t you pop down to the Castle for a private tour. Would be great to see you!”<\/p>\n

New episodes of The Reluctant Traveller With Eugene Levy will premiere weekly on Apple TV+ until the finale on 31 October. The special episode with William will air on 3 October.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
