Megyn Kelly<\/strong> could be heading back to network TV soon.<\/p>\n Veteran reporter Bernard Goldberg<\/strong> said on Tuesday he \u201cwouldn\u2019t be shocked\u201d to see Kelly land at CBS News, after he heard Kelly was recently at the network\u2019s headquarters in New York City for a screen test. Goldberg shared the scoop on his Substack podcast, No BS Zone<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cBy the way, here\u2019s something I\u2019m revealing that nobody knows: a certain person whose name \u2014 I\u2019ll tell you the name in a second \u2014 a certain famous person in the media was at CBS News the other day, doing what I\u2019m told was a screen test. Meaning, seeing how it works on camera,\u201d Goldberg said.<\/p>\n Professor John A. Daly<\/strong>, his co-host, then guessed it was another former Fox News star \u2014 Bill O\u2019Reilly<\/strong>.<\/p>\n \u201cNo, I would\u2019ve guessed that too. No, Megyn Kelly,\u201d Goldberg said. \u201cMegyn Kelly was at CBS News the other day. You heard it here, you\u2019re not going to hear it anyplace else.\u201d<\/p>\n Goldberg\u2019s prediction stands out for a few reasons.<\/p>\n First, Kelly has built a formidable presence<\/a> on SiriusXM and YouTube with The Megyn Kelly Show<\/em>, which she started after leaving NBC in 2019. The right-leaning show just celebrated its fifth anniversary and has 3.99 million subscribers on YouTube<\/a>.<\/p>\n Kelly\u2019s potential move to CBS News also signals Skydance, which just bought Paramount, CBS\u2019s parent company, is aiming to make big changes. Bari Weiss, <\/strong>the founder of The Free Press, is reportedly \u201con the verge\u201d<\/a> of having her publication purchased by the new Paramount Skydance for around $150 million; Weiss, like Kelly, is a prominent female media figure on the right and has also been a frequent target of critics on the left in recent years.<\/p>\n A rep for Kelly did not immediately respond to Mediaite\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n Goldberg said he did not know \u201cin what capacity\u201d Kelly would join CBS, if she does come aboard.
