You can hear all her discoveries live on 88Nine at 10 p.m. every Monday on <\/i>What\u2019s All This: Adventures in New Music<\/u><\/b><\/a>.<\/i><\/p>\n Roberto Carlos Lange\u2019s project known as Helado Negro just shared a set with Milwaukee fans at Cactus Club a couple weeks back, and surely those in attendance were treated to songs from his forthcoming EP, The Last Sound On Earth<\/u><\/i><\/a>. The single \u201cMore\u201d was recently issued, and listening to it makes it clear that Lange is getting more spacey and more existential than he has in a while.<\/p>\n The EP\u2019s inspiration grew from a question Lange asked himself: What will be the last sound I hear before I die? He continued on that aural theme, saying, \u201cWhen I wake up in the morning, I can listen to my ears tuning into the world around me. It feels like a blanket being pulled off my eardrums.\u201d<\/p>\n I love that these songs were inspired by his journey into awareness and that this single is just a taste of the serious playfulness to come.
