Nicole Kidman<\/strong><\/a> has filed for divorce from husband Keith Urban.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Multiple outlets confirmed that Kidman, 58, filed the docs on Tuesday, September 30. TMZ<\/a> was first to report the news.<\/p>\n

Us<\/em> confirmed on Monday, September 29, that the pair separated<\/a> after 19 years of marriage. They share two teen daughters, Sunday, 17, and Faith, 14.<\/p>\n

News of their split came months after Kidman attended the Met Gala solo<\/a> in May. Kidman and Urban were last spotted out in public<\/a> at the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 game in Nashville on June 20. The Music City outing came just five days before their 19th wedding anniversary.<\/p>\n

Kidman shared a post via Instagram on June 25 to mark their marriage milestone<\/a>, tagging the location as Nashville. (This marked the final time Kidman posted a photo with Urban on her main feed prior to their split.)<\/p>\n

\u201cHappy Anniversary Baby \u2764\ufe0f @KeithUrban,\u201d she captioned a photo of her snuggling up with Urban as he held a guitar.<\/p>\n

Kidman and Urban largely spent most of their time at their Nashville home, just one of the estates they purchased during their marriage. She previously opened up about their quiet life in Nashville and how she felt like she was a part of the community.<\/p>\n

\u201cWell, Keith has lived in Nashville for 30 years and I have been there now for 12 years, so we\u2019re just very much a part of it,\u201d the Babygirl<\/em> actress told MiNFDOOD<\/a> in September 2019.<\/p>\n

Kidman continued, \u201cKeith and I actually have a very normal life<\/a>. We say it over and over again and people always go, \u2018Yeah, right.\u2019 But we really do. We work hard for it and we protect it.\u201d<\/p>\n

She went on to say that she liked \u201cthe peacefulness\u201d and \u201csolitude\u201d of Nashville.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have a very simple life there so that is probably why I don\u2019t feel like I live this grand celebrity life,\u201d Kidman reflected on her life with Urban and the girls at the time. \u201cI step in for a moment and then I step out \u2014 back to all the real day-to-day things.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kidman and Urban walked down the aisle in 2006 after meeting one year prior at the G\u2019Day USA gala in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

\u201cI swear to you, she glided across the room, like floated. I don\u2019t know how she did it,\u201d the musician recalled during a November 2010 interview of meeting Kidman. \u201cIt was out of this world and there was a split moment where she wasn\u2019t with anybody, there was nobody around, and I thought, \u2018I\u2019ll just go up and say hi.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
